Roll searching today, I came across this. It has the following-die cracks at left shoulder, left forearm right boot, all small + a die chip on side of boot and left top shoulder. Obverse has a die crack from eye through forehead, a crack at bowtie with tiny die chip. So far not able to identify at Wexler site. Any ideas? Thanks so much.
Well............no. No Ideas. Except, if what you have described cannot be clearly seen in a simple photograph then I'd say that there would be little if any premium associated with the coin. Small Die cracks are common on these and many other coins which ore produced by the millions from a single die pair.
I think you may have been trying to cross reference the cracks and chips to a known doubled at Wexlers? I am thinking that because you mentioned Wexlers. I think I see some of the cracks I normally look for the doubled portion first then the markers, but that's me. I only have a few of this one with small cracks, not a variety at Wexlers, but I like them and keep them. For the few I have come across roll searching, with the cracks, I believe as 19Lyds said; plus he is the bomb on coins
