My opinion? Since I know nothing about this coin, I would trust the grader (since it is a decent company)

According to coins you show here, my thoughts are is that you like Nazi memorabilia just a bit to much. There are forums for such fans, but I guess you already know this.

To each his own. This is a coin... This is also CoinTalk. So what if the guy collects nazi coins? I collect nazi helmets and daggers... You don't see me goose stepping around the coin shows now do you?

Well, I would not collect militaria, and definitely not nazi memorabilia, but of course collecting such items does not necessarily make somebody a nazi. ;) As for that Litzmannstadt piece, I'd be very skeptical. There are lots of counterfeits and imitations around ...

I don't care for collecting nazi garbage, but your comment is particularly inane given your avatar depicting another symbol which competed with the nazi's in the destruction of humanity.

Such intolerance.......as long as you ain't beatin' a drum for the Nazi cause, why complain? Like it or not, these types of things are historical in nature and to deny their existence is totally backward in nature. Like the fools who said the Holocaust never happened.

Back to coins. In the early 1990s lots and lots of fake Litzmannstadt/Łódź ghetto coins started showing up, so unless an expert tells me (preferably with a certificate) that a coin from there is an authentic piece, I would not buy it. Or maybe buy one really cheap, knowing it is an imitation ...

From what I know, the missing dot above the star suggests that this piece is fake. Of course I may be wrong, but that is a common "error". The grade is almost "too good" too. Consult an expert.

I collect Nazi Germany coins as well. Problem is, I don't visit this forum to post exclusively Nazi regime, Nazi occupation or Holocaust related coins. TS posts so far (those I recall) led me to believe this stuff excites him in a disgusting kind of way, IMHO. I might be wrong of course.

My avatar is a symbol which competed with the US Army in the salvation of humanity from the Nazis. Brainwashed much?

Should have taken Churchill's advice at the close of the war......

Indeed. Instead, the US brought the world Hogan's Heros, first released less than a year after Churchill died.

Looks real to me, -in fact, looks like it might be a rare silver off-metal strike of the issue and possibly worth a couple thousand dollars.

Only time can tell if there will be a hoard of them available. When you present a coin in UNC condition from WWII era and it is known to be rare, there is good reason to be skeptic.

Belarus and Poland are known to be producing truck loads of counterfeits and I would not be surprised if this is one of them.

    This is a good refresher:
