As many of you know, I have not been adding to my collection over the last few years, but earlier this month I saw this coin in a Heritage weekly auction. I just couldn't pass up the chance to obtain a modern toned full step gem Jefferson Nickel for my registry collection.

The coin is completely enveloped in intermingled shades of peach and lavender. Bright luster, pretty clean for the grade, and a decent strike that yielded full steps though there is some weakness in the date/mm as well as the hair.

While not a top pop, this coin has the exact type of character and eye appeal that I demand for my registry collection.

Really nice. That's the look I wish more of my coins had.
With a set like yours, I'll bet it's tough to find something new for the set.

    Very nice, sir!

Happy to see you still find a coin now and again that calls to you.

    Did this replace another coin?

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Nice strike. I like the high relief on these more than the flat coins we get now.

Well at least I got to catch up to @Lehigh96 four year old newp. That's a pretty coin; lovely pastel toning and about as hammered as moderns come.
