I may not know Peace dollars well, but that is one grade I can assure you that coin is not. I would guess AU details cleaned. I see no luster on that coin at all.
I just wanted to know the TPG, not the grade. The slab did not look like an NGC or ANACS holder which is the reason I asked for the grading company so I could adjust my grade accordingly. Makes it tough to guess when you tell us the grade. I was gonna say MS62 until I noticed that it was probably in a third world slab.
There are plenty of MS peace dollars that lack luster and have a matte look. That shouldn't prevent an MS grade. The problem here is that the high point are hidden in the shadows making grading just a guess.
Impossible to grade with poor quality images, at an angle. If you want us to grade it, please supply better pictures.
Au 58, in my opinion. A classic slider, and much nicer coin than the original pictures showed. Could be high AU or low MS on any given day. I see a tiny rub in the hair which would lean towards high level AU.
