BD on Silver Tetradrachm

    Hi. I've noticed That this silver Tetradrachm weighing 14.18 g. had some bronze disease spots on it. That is really strange. I would also ask you kindly to help me identify this coin which looks Greek ? Thank you.. Charles Silv GO.jpg silvGR.jpg

    It looks like a Caracalla Antioch Billon Tetradrachm. I doubt it was BD you were looking at but rather a cupric deposit on the coin.

    I agree with AN, not BD - mineral deposit, nothing to worry about.
