Damaged Planchet ?

    Roll searching a box from Loomis.

    My guess is PMD. It'd be pretty strange to make it around in circulation for 7 years like that.

    It'd be super cool if it turned out to be an actual error. Fingers crossed for ya.

    From what I see, it is PMD. The devices should bevel into the missing parts if it came from the mint. I see no evidence of any beveling.

    As others have said, this is zinc rot. It's not a mint error.
