I'd appreciate any help I could get here. I don't have access to the grey sheet or any other printed guides. I suppose I should subscribe, but at the moment I'm not a subscriber. There is a 1944 MS-68 merc on ebay for $340(bad pics tho).I can't find any sort of numbers for it (Heritage, Teletrade, even PCGS) It would be the last of my short set, ms-66+(mostly FB) mercs. I was wondering if anyone had any quotes as to the difference of an MS-68 as opposed to an MS-67 FB, (also one on ebay starting at $225).Fact is, I can't even get my hands on a 66 FB. But that's another story..........Thanks

    Hi merc,

The greysheet wouldn't exactly help much in your situation. The reason that you have had difficulty in finding a value for a MS-68 1944 Merc is because not many have been traded. I looked through some of the dealer trading sites, and found an ask of $500 for a PCGS slabbed coin. Hope that helps.

The big difference between the 67FB and 68 will be between collectors. With the FB designation you bring in many registry set collectors. So the value goes up accordingly.
