Hi guys, It's been a while since I've been on CoinTalk. I was recently going through the last of my roll-searching-days leftovers. I had kept a bunch of possible error coins and am looking to get rid of them now. Most of them were Kennedy halves with "weak FG", I don't know why I saved those, so I'm just going to turn them in. I have a few others though, that I'd like to get your thoughts on. I was browsing eBay, and it's amazing what some of the random errors sell for and wanted to check if I have anything worth selling. What I (think) I have is : a 1971-D Rim Cud, 1983-P w/ Many Die Cracks, and 1983-P w/ (mostly) only "G" initial left. I took some pictures and I'll upload them here. Does anyone know exactly what these are, if they are actual errors, or if they have any value? Thanks in advance.
The 1971 is a rim cud The 1983 looks like a die clash The other 83 is missing the F. Probably a grease filled die.
Nice looking Obverse and Reverse die clash on the 83-P! If you need a home for it, send me a PM. It would fit nicely in this set: http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/showcase.aspx?sc=2045
When I took a better photo of the 1971 rim cud, I noticed it had some slight doubling around kennedy's mouth. Is this just machine doubling? Also, what do you think this cud is worth? Thanks.
