Aside from The Red Book Guide to Shield and Liberty Head nickels, what would be a good single book resource on Liberty Nickels?

I have the Complete Guide to Shield & Liberty Head Nickels by Gloria Peters and Cynthia Mohon. This was published in 1995 so the prices are outdated, but lots of useful info.

@Timewarp, guard that book well, $150 used on Amazon...wow! I'll have to check ebay out, see what I can find.

Search auctioneers like Fred Lake, etc. Books like this can be pricey online, since many times they are just hoping to hook a sucker. I believe this book is fairly common on US numismatic book auctions and does not go very high. Ebay is a decent source too.

When a question arises, I normally look in my Breen Encyclopedia first, the Peters & Mohon book second, and then the Q. David Bowers Red Book third. Are there other good books on V-nickels?

What do you say we post photos of V-nickel coins & books.:)

I was surprised at some of the prices for new and used books of the one I mentioned. I'll have to check out others I have. 'Ya never know what might be worth a few bucks.
