1984 LC "R" in Liberty error??

    image.jpg I've come across a 1984 Lincoln Cent with a "blob" of metal on top of the "R" in liberty....
    Can someone please tell me the correct word for this.....thanks in advance!

    It appears to be a die chip. These are relatively common.
