$100 "Star" note

    I don't have it with me. Got it at the bank today. Nothing special about the serial number. Is it worth any more than $100?

    It depends on how low the Star Note Run is and the condition of the note. If the note is uncirculated and has a very low run like 320,000 or lower, it may be worth keeping. Check out the recent star note run printings below for more info:

    Seems to be a little too common of a print run. Maybe many years down the road it will carry a nice premium. Unfortunately, right now any premium right will be negated by auction commissions and/or shipping should you sell it online which would be the best way to get the most out of it. Anyway, I like it and if you don't really need the money I would keep it if I were you.

    Thanks. I'll try to hold onto it but will probably need the money long before the note comes into value. If anyone wants it and can figure out how to do the transfer at cost + shipping, feel free to PM me.

    @furryfrog02 and @50011005, where do you find this info on which star notes are valuable, run sizes, etc?
