So I lent a girl at work a dollar. She paid me back this morning with a 2006 B Star Note. The condition is bad so I assumed it was worth nothing but did an ebay search and think that perhaps this was a low mintage. Also the serial number seems low. Keeper or spender?

For some reason my email isn't receiving the picture. So in the meantime the serial number is B00389988*. The condition is definitely not gem.

    Any help welcome!!

Nope, that one's from a full run of 3.2 million, with a total of over 7 million printed for the district. Unlikely to fetch much of a premium in circulated condition, I'm afraid. :(

To keep or to spend depends on the type of collecting you do. I would not expect to make a lot of money from it, but they are cool to hang onto for a star note typeset. This note belongs to one of 2 runs for B stars in 2006 and might be cool to find notes from both runs.
