I sold some legacy sets on ebay to a person with a feedback of 15. It cost 18.00 dollars to ship. A month later i get them back, with a return to sender. He emails me that the slip notification blew off his door, and he missed the package. It sat at the po for 30 days unclaimed. He wants me to mail them again which will cost me another 18.00. I checked his feedback and one seller called him a scammer. Should i reship or void transaction and just take the loss?

    I'd cancel the transaction.

    Absolutely.

The buyer had 30 days to inquire about where the item might be.

You can void the transaction as it's just plain not worth the headache; you can also tell him that your listing included free shipping ONCE, and because the package needs to be resent due to his error, he would need to pay for the return shipping. As others said, he had 30 days to ask what happened to it. I, you, any of us, would have asked where it was after a week or two.

If he doesn't want to pay for the shipping the second time, just write it off and block the SOB.

Have him pay the shipping or void it. Not your fault in the least.

It baffles me, that he didnt contact me sooner. This was a 350.00 transaction.

He knew what was going on the whole time. Whenever someone ships me a coin, I watch the tracking every day. I don't know anyone who waits 30 days before they check on their package. I can't figure out what the scam is he may be running, but this would worry me how he handled it. He would have to pay for shipping again if he wants it back.

If it had a tracking number on it then he could have went to the post offices and picked it up , .. To miss something 3x is kinda a slapp in the face..only thing u need is the tracking number and you can pick it up ya know.. Ask him to pay for reshipping and insurance

I'd tell him he had to pay for the second shipping. It will be a good test to see if he's serious or not. If he says no and offers the lame excuse, cancel the transaction, refund him/her the money, block him and move on.

The correct answer is to void the transaction. Only if he can't leave you neg FB that might somehow stick. If Neg FB has no chance of sticking, or if you don't care about neg FB tell him to kiss off. Even if you get him to pay the shipping my Ouija board sees a SNAD in your future. Remember how long the new return policy is? A period of gestation, plus 2 Superbowls...

I just plain don't always get the pickup slips in my PO box, but if I know a package is awaiting I just go in and ask the postal clerks - they'll go and dig for it for me. That slip blew off the door story is BS.
