Yep. All kinds of errors are common for their recent years coinage. Quality control nowadays is not what it used to be in the 1960s.

I guess these are the result of deterioration of the minting equipment, accidents or malfunctions during the minting process, or intentional interventions by mint personnel. If you read some Russian numismatic forums, you`ll see the amounts of newly joined users who ask how valuable their 2006-2014 coins errors. Basically all these minor misaligned dies, weak strikes, filled dies, and die cracks are not considered worth premium anymore, error collectors got plenty of them and it is the nice strike without issues that is not very common anymore on their RECENT years coins.

Don't worry, English is not my primary language either. Problem is that most people here, including myself, cannot read Russian language posts. So if you have a question here, only those who understand Russian will be able to respond - and if you can help out with background info or some explanation, those who asked may not understand it.
