Yeah, they may sell the rest of what they have minted within a month. After that, they might as well end sales, unless they want to lower the price of the silver set to around $59.95 (which btw is more than double the silver value).

the mint should just declare ending the sales.

I'm sure they have plenty of returned coins to sell. And there's still time for a sales push what with the anniversary of President Kennedy's assassination just around the corner. :yack:

I bought five sets but that's my limit. Is anyone buying more?

The 50th Anniv clad Kennedy sets have been on back order for a couple/few weeks. Product limit states 200,000 and it still shows HH limit of 5. [ K14 ]

Not the same coin. Mint set is low relief, 50th clad set is high relief and the bust is larger.

Ok. then I buy 20 set of that two coins set. Cause the mint is going change it to no limit on Monday after 12:00 noon. Those money suppose to buy two sets of the four coins set.

The maximum retail price for four coins set are $179.95 from apmex and $179.99 from mint products. That is 80% above original price from the mint. But the two coins set margin is bigger at 150%. Cause the maximum retail price are $24.95 and $24.99 respectively. Mint price is $9.95.

I bought one set and sold it last Wednesday to a fellow coin club member for $110.00 Both he and I were happy with the transaction. I got rid of it for a small profit and he got a set without the many problems being reported by others here.

Anyone has experience with turnaround time for an exchange with the new website/contractor? I returned one silver set for exchange and received an email acknowledging the return was received and received a refund within days. The order online shows a partial return, but it's been weeks with no other action.

I don't believe they do exchanges anymore. Returns are just refunded and you have to reorder to get a replacement.

Hmm, I'll have to call them. However, the return form included with the order did have an exchange option.

Crazy, but true! I just got off the phone to them and yeah, even though the return form has an exchange option, they no longer offer exchanges, you have to reorder the item. The CSR said they are going to change the return form, but haven't got around to it. Anyone understand the reasoning for not offering exchanges or is it just more incompetence? I told him I wasn't going to reorder.

How long does the mint plan on keeping these sets available? Will they sell until they hit their max mintage or is there a specific time frame?

Are those kennedy silver half dollar coins dated from 1964 to 1970 are the same design with that of 2014?.

I've bought 4 sets and ended up returning 2 cause the quality wasn't that great. Especially the enhance Kennedy. If the mint decide to end it now, then Yes we all who bought the sets should be happy. I am not sure it will be any scare or rare like the first Kennedy Matted Set. Most of the hype should be going down soon and also to me the Mint needs to stop recycling coins to sell us.
