Wife picked this up yesterday. Still pretty crisp but has been folded with four creases and has seen some use. Corners are still pretty sharp too. Best star note I have seen in change yet.
$20 2009 JE10627152* Run Size 3,200,000 Total Printed 4,480,000 Other Info Run Number 4 Run Range: 09600001 ↔ 12800000 Printed in Washington DC in April 2012 No Gaps Not really sure of the value. The creases don't help and it seems to be a higher print run.
No. Value is current, face. Condition is poor. It's worth saving it and potentially others you find and using to buy one in gem condition or spent at a coin show or coin shop on something else you collect.
I have to agree on the "keeper" reason above. This will get her motivated to keep looking for more. If you just spend she may not have the motivation next time around. My lady friend's mom just saved 3 notes that were * notes and actually from the same run as above. I'm going to trade it out to promote the hunt especially after she took the time to save the bill for me.
Well, it's back in her wallet or already spent. She works 3 days a week at a restaurant and I check all the bills she brings home for star notes. So even though she might not be inspired I check every bill I or she gets.
This is excellent advice. Have her believe these are worth more so she gets in the habit of checking them. EDIT: I read your next post where you check her notes anyway. Disregard then.
