Perhaps an early Indian coin? I haven't got a ticket on the clue-bus but the coin photo on the left should probably be rotated 360 degrees.

Naw man, there is virtually no way to tell, the reverse is irregular and the coin is scarce and not commonly collected, poorly studied, circulated for like 3 centuries . I got it for my "One of Each Collection"

 

Thanks for making me feel better. I believe I own a few ancient coins but I know very little about them. I am interested in collecting coins with or referring to Jesus Christ, but I don't know enough to dive into that realm.
