A dryer cent or is it?

So I have sorta assumed this was a dryer cent for some time now. Is it possible to have one side with the results of a laundered coin with the other being totally untouched? The wavy circular pattern on obverse has always baffled me. Any thought would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks again
    Misty

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Look at the link that Briboy07 posted.
Your coin looks to me like it was struck through a die cap, Cylii.

Yes Briboy I have seen that link[emoji6]! Sorry I sorta ganged up on y'all at once. I put these two aside while going through grandpas hoard. I try to figure them out on my own but sometimes I get stumped. Thanks for the help everyone!

I don't know if I helped much, but it looks like you got some keepers :)

Misty, would you mind telling us the weight of that cent?

I'm not sure about this one. My gut says PMD.
