There's lots to learn and you sound like you have a lot of material to go through. BTW, There are lots of ways to get help with your collection in forums like this and resources to be found online in your research. For example, look up the name on the certificate for this coin, Nicholas J. Bruyer [1] [2] [3] [4]. Coins can be tricky things and there are many out there who are less than ethical.
