1874 3 dollar coin

here is one of my many gold pieces. although the pics make it look dirty, this thing is super clean. as someone put it to me in another thread, its a 57 chevy that grandma drove every once in a while, low mileage. anyway, what do you guys think?

Cody,that is one of the nicest U.S. coins that has ever been issued.That particular piece is the nicest U.S. gold coin I have ever seen depicted.

Cody,it is worth quite a lot of money,being a lovely piece of gold.I can't tell you a price though,as the U.S. coin experts,who know more about these than I would, can tell you the 'KM' number & the prices.

Your camera resolution isn't too bad but what I strong recommand is to take the coin much closer up. If you can't, the least you should do is to crop the excess background. You can use a freeware called irfanview, right here: http://www.irfanview.com/

 

Gxseries,I tried to download that photoediting programme off CNet's website,but without success.How did you manage to download it successfully?

Hm, I'm not too sure what is going on there Aidan.

If you are to get it from CNet, make sure that your Internet Explorer or the browser that you are using doesn't block the software from downloading. I have tried it from Tucows and CNet and they both don't seem to give me a problem at the moment.

Alternatively you might want to click on this mirror site at file forum. http://fileforum.betanews.com/download/IrfanView/967963863/1 and look for the line: If your download does not start shortly, click here.

Right click on the word "click here" and hit "Save as" and hopefully you should be getting the file.
