...Picked up $630 from a new bank a few days ago and just finished sorting it. The mix was $160 in BWR halves and the remainder was all CWR of quarters.

I was optimistic about the halves as the teller said that they had been in her change drawer for months and they looked rather old in their wrappers and I had seen the lady who brought in the quarters the day prior. Unfortunately, there was nothing in the rolls.

Not bad for being put into circulation. It was a roll from Loomis. Looks like someone desperately needed a cent to spend. It has a permanent home now though.

Or someone broke up a set to send the better stuff to get graded. That happens quite often.

None the less, it's one I didn't have before. It's a keeper for me. I've found a 2009 DD, 98 WAM and now this Proof in the last few days or so. I still have about $7 to go. Hope I find one more story to tell.

    Nice haul, jlogan.

I would like to amend my previous post as I ended up finding a 1959-D quarter in the rolls...I posted that a few nights ago and still had a few unsearched CWRs. At the rate I was going I didn't suspect I would find any in the remaining rolls. It's being towards the end if the silver-era coins it's in nice shape and has a nice faint toning in the luster.

Well I picked up 2 grande worth of halves last week and started them halloween night, One of the biggest tricks someone could pull.lol I did notice they were brand new wrappers that say the name of the armored service,And the string and son wrappers are gone, These coins were bad bad bad,Skunks, I wonder if loomis figured out a way to sort them better? Will have to see in a week or 2 when I order my next batch I guess.
