After getting my 5 JFK Unc. sets, one was already un-taped, so I looked it over pretty good, and found a crack in the air tite on one of them. It is not in the outside layer of thin clear plastic, and doesn't seem to be on the coin, just in the plastic cointainer it is in. More puzzling is a note I found inside 2 of them. On a small piece of masking tape is hand-written on the inside cover these words in blue ink: "Payed 11.60 in 2014 more stars around eagle. Did anyone else get any specimens like these? Yes, that was one of my thoughts. Right after I ordered, they said they were sold out. So, maybe there were returned coins. They are not defective. But, I am a little surprised that they sent them out like that so early, eh?
