Common double die error on Arches ATB quarter?

I work as a cashier and over the past few days I have noticed that over half of the Arches quarters I found had a doubling on the obverse in the words "Quarter Dollar". I have found seven of them so far just this week. Is this a common error or am I just having amazing luck?

This is caused by die deterioration, and unfortunately it is quite common.

 

I suppose they go in the change jar then. Thanks!
