My 3 sets arrived today, I am very happy :) with the US Mint ~ very nice set. Over all ordering, shipping, packaging and quality :D were great, the US Mints new up dated process was a huge success in my opinion. :smug: Maybe a few glitches, but they will work on them ! :pompous:

The mint should make the kennedy four coins set to a five coins set. Add a burnished uncirculated to it. Use the double date just like the gold coin. And maintain the price at $99.95.

In the future. The mint should sell its modern coins with capsules only. And without those nice box and c.o.a. Only those wanted will pay additional.

anchor1112 ~ the year is not over yet. I would expect the mint to release a single coin or two as an individual item, maybe from the Silver Set or as you stated a Burnished double dated Silver coin.

I am pretty sure it has already sold over 100,000

Why, keep them, of course. That's what makes me a collector.

    Dang it Ethan!

Did you not study during "Whiners 101"??

It's a required course for forum participation so lets not here anymore of these "I like them" and "They're beautiful" comments!

More "What were they thinking?" and "Gawd these are ugly" comments are needed.

Well I do like them, I have been giddy about all the 50th coins......the hardest part for me was to get 2 silvers or 5, I am glad I got five. When the mintage limits were announced, that made my choice for me.

Will they hit the 300k limit by "black Friday" (11/28)? Quite possibly, and if so, possible ROI for sellers thereafter and in December with holiday shoppers looking for the sets.

1987 kennedy half dollar from mint set compare to 2014 kennedy clad two coins set. The reverse of 1987 Kennedy half dollar is much better and beautiful than 2014 Kennedy reverse. the obverse goes to 2014 design.

How do you support or define, "much better and beautiful than..."?

Beauty is generally a matter of personal aesthetics. Beauty is subjective and changes from one person to the next. How is the coin better?

I bought 4 sets and end up sending back 2 sets cause of quality. I haven't decide what I am going to do with them yet.
