I found a gift card that I received June 2022 and I checked the balance. Well it had $9.75 left so what can I get. How about a 1909 Barber Quarter $8.00 +1.08 to ship.
I have difficulty getting sharp, close up pics with my cell phone camera but I'll keep working on it. Yesterday I received three 2014 Silver Libertad BU and three 2020 Silver Libertad BU. Before that I received six 2023 Silver American Eagle MS-70 PCGS First Strike. I also received nine 2023 Silver Krugerrand BU and nine 2023 Silver Britannia BU.
So, here’s my newest acquisition. I blame all you other St Gaudens addicts for getting me hooked on this. You may laugh, but it’s somewhat the same as being addicted to other vices…..you don’t tell anyone except fellow addicts and you don’t say what you spent even to the other addicts! I still feel I enjoy the high relief 2009 more, but the artistry here amazes me. Now my OCD has me inspecting right hand finger details, to geometry of scratches, and how mashed Lady Liberty’s face is. Ok, it’s an easy one to guess the grade, but go ahead!
2 new Standing Liberty Quarters to upgrade my top set the 1927-S V20 was a relative bargain (given that these are scarce and pricey) and is a step up from the current F15 and the MS62 1917 D, Type 1 is a step up from an AU50. Then I've got 2 low grade Draped Bust large cents from 1796 and 1798! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
$10 Liberty graded MS61 PL. One day I hope to own a real cameo proof in a high grade (it's on my bucket list). But for now I will settle with the wannabe proof. I am surprised PCGS didn't details grade this coin because of the scratch near the 4 in the date. I've seen less severe abrasions get tagged up.
Supposedly one can't grade from a photo & of course the usual disclaimer that I really collect Roman bronzes. Nevertheless willing to take "a stab at things" {sorry for the pun}. MS-65?
