Finally The 1928 New York $5 Note Gem 64

    Howdy folks... wanted to share with you the latest addition to the New York collection.
    Found this baby at Heritage...just waiting for me to find her....oh yea..and a 1977 $20 star

    Hello Aidan,

    Thank you....you are correct. The 1928 notes are becoming a little more difficult to get in gem shape.
    When I started this crazy New York thing I was not completely aware of how difficult it would be and how expensive it was as well. When I see stars (in the form of notes) I try to get those first, or a least that is what I have recently been doing.
    What i find difficult is the Blue Seal Series 1914 Large size notes. I have the $20 in ChCU and the remaining notes $5,$10, $50, and $100 are really hard to find in CU condition. When you do find them they are $$$$$$

    Oh well..so it goes right? So what collectable currency do you have in New Zeland?? Anything you suggest?

    those numeral notes are awesome! i used to focus on collecting world notes, but ever since my first numeral i've been slowly drifting towards u.s. currency. great find!
