hi i have a quarter its misprinted its from 1977. im new to coins i have a small jar of coins i started a few years ago and am finally getting around to learning more about them. the one in questions the error is that it appears to of been hit twice but once as the normal quarter should be but then again with what looks like the penny stamper. im having a really hard time finding out any information on it, what that type of error is called. how much itd be worth is something im interested in. but any type of info on what id even call it would be helpful. thanks! :) i will try to get around to posting a photo in a few days but for now i think the description spells out it pretty well.

If the image of the cent portion has visible lettering, is it normal or reversed? Most often these are produced by someone using a cent coin and pressing it and the quarter together in a vise , and the lettering or image of one will be reversed and the coin just worth a quarter. Photos will be needed if lettering is correct for both images.
