Hello All! October 24th and 25th, I attended my first PAN show in Monroeville, Pa and had a great time. Not only did I fill some voids in my paper collection, I also had the opportunity to meet some great paper money dealers (and coin dealers as well!). This show is scheduled in May and October, and I plan to attend next spring as well as the fall show. This weekend marked the second coin/currency show I've attended since beginning my collection ~2 years ago, and I must say I learned more in the combined 5 hours I spent there than I learned in the first year of collecting. I say this in regards to dealer pricing and collector value. I may or may not elaborate on this at a later time. I'll be posting my pick ups on the new acquisition thread. Most importantly, did anyone else go???
Look forward to seeing your write ups Mitch. Unfortunately, I was not able to go this year. My buddies that I usually car pool with still went up, but I had to stay home and get yard work done before it gets too cold. Plus not having any money helped make that decision a bit easier. The PAN show is always a good show to attend.
