VAM 2 1882-CC?

    While watching the Panthers lose to Seattle in the last few minutes of the game I began checking some of my newly graded and waiting to be graded GSA CC Morgans and came across this one 1882-CC that I think may be a VAM 2. So check out the pics of the date and let me know what you think. I compared it to the VAM site and it looks pretty much the same in a lot of ways, including the "tail" under the first 8 and a very slight maybe piece of "1" on the top left of the first 8. I have circled some of the spots for easier reference.

    Based only on the date, it looks good. However, it wouldn't hurt to post photos of other markers when asking an attribution question.

    Agreed! What about the die polishing lines around the first two right hand stars?

    I can barely make out some marks under both stars with a loop and turning the coin. I'll try to take pics in a little bit.
