That shield nickel looks off to me, but I'm not very familiar with the series. I don't like the way the denticles disappear around a big part of the edge, but I've seen something similar on a three-cent nickel that's apparently legitimate.

For the two V-nickels, I'd guess XF for the first one, VF for the second? Not sure about the reddish discoloration, but if they're problem-free, maybe $10-15 each?

I was wondering about the shield nickel as well.
I proably over paid on it but they don't pop up much in my area.

Hard to believe nobody else has a opinion on it....where are the nickel guys?

First impression in they are cleaned with soap and water, other than that they seem fine. Shield I'd say xf details $50ish and the Lib nickel $5 max all IMO

The shield is vf.35 nice example of an 83 plenty of meat on her. The first 83 no cent Liberty nickel vf/X2 the second 83 NC vf. All three seem to be nice examples . When buying shields look for varieties . The shield nickel has lots to offer in the variety dept. In fact shields offer more varieties than other nickels and coins....some even not found yet!
One should look for re punched dates ,misplaced dates, doubled dies, triple dies, to name just a few.....shields are also for the most part plentiful and reasonable priced.
