This may be a circumstance where you send the coin to ICG. Though they do not say this publicly, the will "net grade" old coppers and older bust coins. A light cleaning will slide with them. Small scratches might also. Look closely at the criss-cross at 10 o:clock. Grafitti will catch a derogatory.

I would chance it for a grade.

Nice coin - I like it. I would say VG-10.

I'm just waiting for a few more coins to come and then I'll hopefully be sending in 8-10 coins with 5 of them being "Free" grades from the NGC membership.

I could see it in a F15, the obverse is a bit too flat for VF. Overall i think the originality will overshadow the few light scratches and it will get a numeric grade.

No way a f-15 I'd say vg 10 myself and a clean grade. The scratches are common circulation marks I've sent similar with fine scratches to pcgs and they've all graded clean I think at vg 10 you got a decent chance of a green bean too as it's a nice original coin Not a chance I'd send it to anything other them pcgs or ngc either anything else your wasting your money unless you want to authenticate a coin cheap then I'd say anacs
