    better light would help. looks like a rim ding and numismatic trauma (post-strike).

    quarter has been mangled. nickel has environmental damage/corrosion. spend them.

    it's a Canadian penny that is extremely thin but you can see that it a penny

    It might be a wrong planchet error and worth a few bucks . But errors aren't my specialty . So wait till someone can tell you with more certainty . It does look promising though .
