What in the world is this date

    This is listed as a CC trade dollar, however, I can not make sense of this date. It ends with a 7 which indicates an 1877, but the middle 7 does not look anything like the end 7.

    Detached leaves on the branch make it look a LOT like a chinese fake. Too bad that area is out of focus. Second photo is the size of an icon, not much help there.

    Does it stick to a magnet? Even today, most of the fakes still do, but some are getting smart and making them out of non-ferrous materials.

    Fortunately, I did not buy or bid on this coin, so I can't tell anymore about it. I was hoping to get some info back that would allow me to warn those persons who were bidding.
