Ancient - Side Tetradrachm Reshoot

    Reshoot. Its one of my coins that I haven't played much with lately. It totally felt like a new coin.

    Feel free to make comments and suggestions...

    Anatolia,Pamphylia, Side c. BC 200
    AR Tetradrachm 30 mm x 15.88 g
    obverse: Helmeted Head of Athena
    reverse: Victory Advancing hold wreath, Pomegranate in reverse left field.
    Monogram: Wreath / AR

    It has a cool look to it ... it kinda looks like it's an AE, but I realize that it's an AR (very cool eye-appeal)

    The reverse style is much better than many of these - I've been wanting one myself as well but nicely styled examples don't come up often.

    There are a lot of variations of these in both style and the letters under the pomegranate. Mine suffered from bad cleaning and remaining black spots but I like the countermark.

    253-268 AD
    Diameter: 30 mm
    Weight: 14.25 grams
    Obverse: Laureate and draped bust right above eagle standing right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; IA obliterated by c/m of Є within circular incuse
    Reverse: Athena standing facing, head right, holding spear and [thunderbolt], with shield at side; pomegranate to left
