For those of you who are regular listeners to The Coin Show podcast you may find this familiar from the last episode. In episode 87 I discussed coins from the Economite hoard and how some scholars believe that these E & L counterstamped bust quarters originated from the harmonites who assembled the hoard. This coin was stamped with an E just above the bust... it appears someone later tried to repair it... but it is still clearly there.

Matt, do you have a photo of one that hasn't been repaired?

Another really cool piece Matt, but looks like an L. Am I seeing things?
