They all look to be on the obverse

Shots from an angle don't help much, straight on shots work better...that being said, they all look to be from Die Pair 4. If you look at them the S should have a die chip inside the upper loop and a notch in the top serif....if it doesn't have both of those things then it isn't genuine.

They are not die 1, 2, or 3. The top of the MM is above the tail of the 9 for all three. They may (or may not) be die #4, but I cannot tell for sure unless you get a straight on shot preferably with the date horizontal.

Buy the books before you buy the coins.

Or buy a few coins and get burned and figure out how and why. Buying the books is probably a cheaper education.

Yeah straight on shots are going to be required... I like the shape of the MM's... but without straight on pics I can't be sure one way or another.

I've never owned a 09 S VBD, so I never have "bought the book."

YES, I am looking for free help this time.

For those who were able to narrow it down to die pairing IV, thank you so much!

If you want to buy and sell coins for profit, it's your responsibility to know what you're buying, and perhaps more importantly, what you're selling, especially when your name is attached to it.

So I didn't help at all? I narrowed it down to one side of the coin for everyone else.
