The coin i'm picking isn't even technically a coin. Have you ever seen the movie Pirates of the Carribean where they're in a large cave on an island absoluty filled with gold tresure? Well this is an acual gold colored piece of eight used as a prop in that scene.
There's cross on one side and a coat of arms on another.
It's my favorite becuase it's by far the most unique.
The only memory is of buying it at the FUN show in Orlando this year.
    Probably worth about $20.
    And is gold painted aluminum.

    73 D I think.
    Lincoln Penny
In Chemistry Class I used a glass file to make a couple of deep chunks in it. It looks pretty cool.
We were melting glass that day.
Probably worth nothing, or on cent.
    It's copper.

A US nickel I found in a roll. I will be posting a thread about it later when I can get nice pics. It is a 58 nickel. The neat thing about it is it has the most beautiful toning. Might be considered a black beauty. But the toning gives it a bit of a goldish look. Possibility it might be plated, but I'm pretty sure it is toning.
    Thanks for the contest!

    Phoenix

I remember this because it was my first major purchase as a kid! Spent a whopping 5 bucks on a one cent coin. How insane was that when your 8 years old. (Still have it too).

ps, dont put my name in the hat, let the kids win..
