I know early Jefferson Nickels had a lot of strike doubling and RPMs. I found this a few years ago and kept it aside. Since I am using a new Micro camera, I am putting it to use(or trying to). Reading Cherry Pickers they mentioned that 1941 D has a lot of varieties known on RPMs. On the reverse there is clear doubling on "United States of America" and on the monument. All other words show no doubling. There also seems to be an RPM. you can see the D/D is west. Now I know the monuments had a lot of strike doubling. I seen the strike doubling almost all around the monument. This one is only to the west. This is a really cool nickel to look at. Here is a lot of pics. Please any advise or comments. I am trying to learn the differences found within Jeffersons.
Hey Mickey. I bought this last week. works great!! I just need to reorganize me work space. The only problem with it is keeping still for me. Since I have a herniated Disc in my neck, I am unable to keep my hand still for long periods of time. But it is reasonably priced and very easy to use. It's called Zorb
That's cool! I also have a bad neck!!! If that came with a little stand it would be very cool! Takes better pics then my celestron. On the coin I would have thought MD, but the MM looks different.
