I went metal detecting a few days ago at an old wood mill about 2 miles from where I live at and I know its not worth much but it at least it gives me hope that I may find better coins in the future so here is my newest metal detector find.
Very nice find! Not a bad looking dug large cent. Lot of circulation on this one. Dug coins are always a special find.
You did a nice job of cleaning it up. Most folks kill the coin getting the dirt off. Look for the outhouses at the old mill and search the path back to the mill.
Well I can try and find it but sadly due to commercial and residential growth most of the outer areas except where the main building was is owned by business and private residents.
