Let's see your HOLED COINS (by design and mint procedure)

    There are already enough topics on CT, about holes in coins that are the direct result of damage done by a dumb-donkey. In this topic I'd like to see CT members show off their HOLED COINS that were created and minted with an intentional hole, as part of their interesting design. I'll go first...

    I have 9 of these. I believe they are Korean and could be quite old. I also have 5 similar but smaller coins that I believe to be Chinese. I've found some information on the Korean coins, but it is still hard to make heads or tails (sorry) of them.

    Don't have any at hand now, but Denmark still makes circulation coins with a central hole. The 1, 2 and 5 kr pieces (image: central bank) have one.

    These were holed in New York to make the coin stand-out from the Denmark 1-Krone coins of the same diameter.
