    Hey everyone,

Just picked up three $50 FRN, thought I'd get some opinions on value/condition. (Seeing if my opinions and local information matches.) I'd also love it if someone could tell me an approximate print run number for the 1934 C Star.

    Thanks!

Your 1928-A St. Louis $50 was one of 880,500 printed, if my book is correct. I would place value at $70-80.
The 1934 is a neat note, and I hoard the large denomination 1934s whenever I happen upon them, but is realistically only worth FV in that condition (especially given the inking on the obverse).
The 1934-C Star is interesting. The 9th Edition of the Standard Guide does not list any St. Louis stars for '34-C. I also can't find any reference to one, anywhere. You might well have something, here.
    Hope this helps.

The Official Red Book 4th Ed. lists 1934c St. Louis stars @ $225 in Fine. Your note has obvious problems, but it's still a cool find. Mule?

1928-A. sheet has it at 80/90 at VF20. second one might get you $55.

star is your money bill. Friedberg applies an 11x multiple for this bill in VF, and states that stars in Ch63 are "rare." pretty rare bird.

stldancerartist: mule? not seeing any reference to mules in Friedberg. help me.

A mule being where the note has different sized plate numbers on the front/back of the bill. I believe this note has a large sized front and small sized back.
