I accumulated a nice little haul at work today. I found 1942 and 1957-D wheats; a 1989 Canadian penny; 1940x2, 1941, 1947-D, 1953-D, 1954-D, 1959-D, and 1960-D nickels; 1961-D and 1962-D dimes, and a 1981-S $1 coin that I think is a proof. The SBA has led a rough life, evidenced by its dull finish and grungy gummy gunk. I pulled the dimes out of BWRs. The nickels were mostly in rolls but a few of them were in the drawer when I got to work, as was the SBA. I also spotted a Series 1977 $20 bill that I didn't buy because it had mildew on it.

I don't know where you work. But you sure hit the jackpot quite often. I wonder if you have the same luck at the casino.

I have recently started roll hunting and the bank that I have got a couple boxes from have been customer rolled cents. Do I need to go to a different bank to get machine rolled/shotgun rolled cents? I feel like I'm not having any luck with customer rolled cents.

Both CWR and BWR cents can be hit or miss. I have found huge amounts of wheats in CWR from my credit union - recently I got $20 worth of cents that were rolled in 1964(latest date in the bunch) and something like 700+ of them were wheaties dating back to 1918. I have gotten bankwrapped stuff that was all circulated Zincolns. When I get boxes of new centsfrom credit union orders I take them because I can sell them to banks for CWR they have but cannot sell unless I am doing an even trade.

Last year I got a solid roll of silver Roosevelt dimes in a CWR roll, apparently some member of the one credit union let that slip out of their hoard.
