    The rails have fascinated me for ever so long. My earliest recollection was looking down a stretch of roadbed in Middletown NY. I daresay, that line no longer exists. Old railway bridges on abandoned lines intrigue me. One exists over the Susquehanna in Binghamton NY. Another resides near Nineva (NY), again, over the Susquehanna. Post dem coins brothers and sisters.......:)

    Canadians seem to have more of an appreciation for the past. Not one NYC Hudson was preserved......

    there was a hole in the susquehanna river back in the day because a greedy mine company was mining 5 ft from the river when they are supposed to be 40 feet. they plugged the hole with 4 trains worth of traincars. I remember seeing a video of it in my geology class last year.

    Interesting video Josh. Look at the 'power of that river. I know as I have a home in upstate NY which resides very close to the Susquehanna and have experienced two floods.......
