How does this stay listed on E-Bay?

I know that there are dumb people buying coins on E-Bay but this is really bad. I am sure that this is a 1903 that was poorly modified and dipped in something or other. This clown doesn't take returns either.

He might not take returns but he takes PayPal and in a case of fraudulent or altered coins, PayPal can be your PAL!!

 

The seller is so clearly an idiot I don't see that it matters.

 

It was a couple of months ago that SleazeBay did away with the "Report" function. Now, I guess the only way to do anything about questionable listings is to send a "Question" to the seller. I wonder how long it will be until ScumBay does away with this feature, too?

Hey, it's a "pure gold peice". Peice, brother!

 

Look at the scale of the coin relative to the ridges in the palm. This coin is either significantly smaller than a small cent or this man is a giant.

 

It's a 1970's reproduction, struck in 22K. 0.9g, so yes, significantly smaller than a small cent.
Seller is not dishonest, but god, look at those pictures.

Now that one is funny. Especially the price hes asking. I actually found one of those in a roll of dimes early this year, but wouldn't even bother with it knowing it could never be real. I kept it just for the heck of it however.

 

Well there is the report item on the listing. Of course as stupid as it is I can not see anyone bidding - but you never know.
