Book/folder for Kennedy Proofs?

I'm not interested in collecting all the varieties (accented hair, filled "S", clear "S", etc.), and this is strictly clad with the possible exceptions of 1968, 1969, 1970, and 1976. Also, I'm not interested in the 1992-and-later Silver proofs.

I know I could put them in 2x2's and put them in a 3-ring binder, but I like the look of the Whitman (and other) "books". I currently have an older Kennedy half book that my local coin shop just gave to me because it wasn't good for much else (made in the 70's, not very many slots to fill, but at least could see the coins from both sides).

What other options would I have if I wanted to fill a "book" with proof Kennedy halves (mostly collected from CRH'ing)?

    Thanks.

Maybe it would be possible to order an album with blank pages from Dansco or some other company. Then you could print the date/mm labels on a clear acetate.

I didn't know such things existed. I'll look into it. Thanks.

    Oh yeah!

Matter of Fact, my Kennedy Set is in a Dansco with blank pages and even a Blank Dansco Album.

However, I kinda wish I'd have paid more attention because, you see, this is a "Complete Set" with proofs and business strikes.

Unfortunately (and I don't know what the hell I was thinking but), I never put the 1964 Proof Coin in the book! I only discovered this around 2002? at which point, adding that single proof would mean that I'd have to shift the entire set over a single slot.

That didn't happen and would not have happened had I used preprinted Dansco Pages.

But whatever! I like the blank pages (as long as I pay attention) because then I don't have to wait for the updates such as what has occurred this year with the 50th Anniversary Varieties.

A word of caution to the OP...........Make sure you plan your layout very carefully before you label them.
