2008 dime with a rivet attached to the back.

    Hello. I'm new to coin talk and was wanting to ask your opinion on a recent find. It's a 2008 D dime and it looks to have a tiny rivet attached to the back of it. Here are some pics. I hope you can help me to know what this is.

    A pin was soldered to the reverse so it could be used as a piece of jewelry.

    Thanks guys. I thought of that but seen no sign of it being heated in any way so I wasn't sure.
