Was just wondering if this is a die brake. It is raised above the surface and it's part of the penny. It's on the reverse bottom right of the lincoln memorial. Its a 1997 penny. Just wanted some thoughts. Thanks.
I think that would be considered a die gouge. Not worth much as far as monetary value goes. I would probably still keep it though, interesting piece.

it's a thick die crack or a small die gouge. not a die break. might be a lonely plating blister...but these things tend to appear in clusters
