Hi everyone and thanks right away for taking time to take a look at this thread! I have finished cleaning some ancient roman coins and need some help ID'ing a coin. Just need a more accurate ID. The pictures and coin specs are below. Thanks again for all the help in advance!

    Weight: 1.752 grams
    Diameter: 15.875 mm AE3
Obverse: Bust facing right (need help on emperor)
Reverse: (Soldier?) Standing, Facing left holding globe, star in right field
    Mint:?
    Date:?
The coins legends are there, just most of the letters can not be made out.

    Thanks again,
    Jimmbob82

i believe it is constantius ii, RIC VIII Siscia 398 with the star in the right reverse field and the ASIS mint mark.

    so siscia mint, date: 355-361

    the obverse legend should be..

    DN CONSTAN-TIVS PF AVG

Thanks so much chrsmat71 for the fast reply! I had a general idea of what the coin was, but could not find it on others sites as I did not know what the legends said.

    Thanks again,
