I had a much scarcer Valerian II, it wasnt in the best of shape and the portrait's eyes were worn off. I ended up parting with it and scored this for $24. Its much better silver and portrait. Its fairly heavy compared to most too. Valerian II (256 - 258 A.D.) AR Antoninianus O: VALERIANVS CAES, Radiate and draped bust right. R: IOVI CRESCENNI, Infant Jupiter seated facing on goat (Amalthea) standing right, his right hand raised. Colonia Agrippinensis (Cologne) mint 4.6g 23mm RIC 3 RSC 26

In 1998, I was not 100% certain of the ID's assigned to some of the young looking portraits on coins bearing the name Valerian. Nothing has changed; I still am not ceratin of all the standard ID's. http://www.forumancientcoins.com/dougsmith/feac68sal.html
