I would also suggest that you take your coins out of the 2x2's to take the picture. The mylar messes with the details on the coin making the coin seem more worn or weakly struck than it actually is.
I just use a sony mavica digital camera, nothing fancy and no other hardware. It works fine most of the time but sometimes dark copper coins can be tricky. Nick
I use my digital too, I have a bendy lamp set up and position it until I get the right light then take a snap directly over the coin. It works well as long as I am focused.
I guess my goal right now would be to get a digital camera before I start listing ANY high-end stuff, untill then, i'll continue with my wheat cent lots
